My fonts are in Arial and don't join. How can I fix this?

INSTALLING SASSOON JOINER v1.0 to 2.1
and SASSOON CAMBRIDGE JOINER v1.0 to 1.3.1

Unlock the Sassoon Joiner item from the Sassoon Installer CD if necessary or decompress the ZIP encoded file downloaded from Internet purchase.

Locate the item S140 or SC140 Folder. It contains a Installer. Double-click the Installer icon to begin installation of files and fonts.

ADDITIONAL USER NOTES
Installer programs are sometimes used to install various files and folders on the User's Hard Disk and configure them for easy use. Such is the case with the Sassoon Joiner group of Installers. However, despite our best efforts, glitches still occur during this process which are beyond our control.

Issue: After the Installer program has completed, the installed fonts may not be activated automatically by some Windows Operating Systems.

Solution: When the Installer program has finished successfully, a message appears on screen.

Exit the Installer and do not launch the Sassoon Joiner program yet. You must first activate the fonts manually with the following procedure: Select START > CONTROL PANEL > FONTS (or Appearance and Themes/Fonts in XP).

With the Fonts Folder now open, select VIEW > LIST from the menu.

This does two things:

It lists the fonts in alphabetical order, enabling you to press 'S' on your keyboard. The focus now jumps to the S section of the list so that you can check to see whether the Sassoon fonts appear in the list.

In order to do this, Windows must refresh the fonts list.

These actions activate the fonts so that they are not only recognised in Sassoon Joiner, but also your other programs. Once the font names appear in the list, you may then launch Sassoon Joiner and begin joining.
