Windows Install of Program 1. Insert the Sassoon CD into your CD-ROM drive. 2. Open 'My Computer'. Open the Setup Windows Folder. Double-click 'Setup' application icon (which may be named with its version number such as 'Setup43.exe'). Setup guides you through the process of copying the Sassoon Installer software. You may either accept the default setting for destination, or Browse to a different disk or folder. Click 'Next' and Setup application copies Sassoon Installer Folder from the CD onto your Hard Disk. Setup also places a Shortcut into the START > PROGRAMS menu for easy access and a Shortcut onto the Desktop. 3. 'Finish' the Setup and wait until Sassoon Installer application runs. The launch time will vary depending on the speed of your computer and how many other programs are currently running. You may then browse samples, order and unlock any of our font products from on the CD. 4. During Setup, you will be offered important PDF files which may be printed and read before ordering Sassoon fonts. They contain important advice on how to best use the fonts and therefore may affect the purchases you make. If you choose not to view or print the PDFs at Setup time, you may access them anytime by clicking "Settings" in the Sassoon Installer software that is now on your Hard Disk, or by opening the PDF files directly from the Sassoon Installer Folder. "Why Sassoon.pdf" provides essential information and advice on how to get the best from your Sassoon fonts, showing examples of all fonts and suggested ways to mix typefaces and a list of alternative character with their positions on the keyboard. This will also be helpful in making your choice of fonts. Only Mac OS product items can be viewed from a Mac. To view Windows products, insert the CD into a PC. The purchase price includes only one platform (either MacOS or Windows). Items should be purchased again for use on another platform at the same price. |
